What they think: They may tend to have more aesthetic goals, wanting to ‘tone up’ and ‘not get bulky’ or ‘not build too much of muscle’ and the young boys wanting either ‘to get big’ or ‘to get a lean body’ like any of the famous model/movie star.

What they should understand: When someone wants to ‘tone up’, he/she actually wants to increase in muscle tissue which is by its very physiology, firm and shapely, and loss of body fat which is by its physiology, soft and flabby.

Wanting to get big or increase is size is again a desire of maximal muscle growth and hypertrophy with minimal increase in body fat. Consuming high amounts of sugar and weight gainers will not help and could only lead to fat gain and not muscle growth.
